Had breakfast in the terrace, it was delicious and amazing with a beautiful view, honey cherry yogurt and home-made jam. The location was stunning and wonderful for exploring this very nice area, not far from the castle, stunning spot for a guesthouse, the restaurants inside the castle and Berat, where there is a plenty of restaurants as well.

Fairly clean place with amicable staff. Splendid view of the mountains and the city. Incredible and beautiful location. Very nice area, close enough to Berat. Plenty of restaurants in Berat. Berat Castle at Guesthouse Kris and the surrounding mountains.

The location of Kris Guesthouse is amazing and marvelous, very close to the Berat valley. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as historic churches covered in wonderful frescoes. the guesthouse is situated in a very nice area. the hotel is at a medium distance from St Paul's Church.

Had a fantastic Xmas stay at a guesthouse in the heart of a castle. Loved the cozy rooms and delicious breakfast. the location was unbeatable, with breathtaking views from the terrace. Plus, being able to explore the castle and experience the charm of a UNESCO heritage site was a real treat.

It would have been great if they accepted card payments and had clearer parking instructions. We spent some time searching for parking outside the castle, not realizing we could drive in.

The spacious and comfortable rooms were perfect for our family with kids. the beautiful grounds and peaceful setting made it easy to relax and enjoy the homemade breakfast and unwind with a beer. the family-run atmosphere made us feel right at home. A must-stay when visiting this historical area.

We stayed at Kris Guesthouse in Berat for a few nights and it was an incredible experience. The breakfast was delicious, with custom-made options and tasty jams and fruits. The host and staff were absolutely wonderful, offering great advice on exploring wineries in the area. The location within the castle was breathtaking, with narrow stone alleys, stunning mountain views, and close proximity to various sites. We truly felt like honored guests, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Totally recommend this hotel.
